Frequently Asked Questions
Shipping & Returns
Shipping
We ship Canada-wide via Canada Post. Orders placed before 1pm ET on a business day go out the same day; after that, the next business day.
Free shipping on orders over $99. Below that, rates are calculated at checkout based on weight and destination.
Delivery is typically 1–2 business days within Ontario and Quebec, 3–5 business days to the Prairies and Atlantic Canada, and 4–7 business days to BC and the territories. Remote postal codes can take longer.
Returns
Thirty days from delivery, for any reason. The item needs to be unused with tags attached — try gear on indoors before taking it outside.
Email us with your order number and we'll send a return label. Return shipping is on us for sizing exchanges, and deducted from your refund for other returns.
Refunds are issued to the original payment method within five business days of us receiving the item.
Warranty
Manufacturer warranties are handled directly by the brand, but we'll help you file the claim. Send us photos and your order number and we'll take it from there.
Fit Guide
Getting the size right matters more than which brand you choose.
Measuring for a harness
You need chest girth: measure around the widest part of the ribcage, just behind the front legs, with the tape snug but not compressing the fur. Take the measurement with the dog standing, not sitting.
Some brands also want neck girth — measure where a collar would naturally sit, not at the base of the skull.
Weight is a poor guide on its own. A forty-pound whippet and a forty-pound bulldog need different harnesses entirely.
If you're between sizes
Size up for a growing dog or a thick winter coat. Size down for a lean, short-coated dog. If you're genuinely unsure, email us the measurements and the breed and we'll tell you what we'd order.
Checking the fit
Two fingers should slide flat under any strap. If you can pull the harness over the dog's head with the buckles done up, it's too loose. If the dog's gait changes when wearing it, the shoulder straps are sitting wrong.
